Visit Kuusamo!

Kuusamo is known for its magnificent rapids abounding in fish just like its clear-watered lakes and, for Kuusamon Uistin, of course. So why don’t you visit Kuusamo to enjoy its beautiful nature and to get some fine fishing experiences along the Oulanka-, Kitka- and Kuusinki Rivers as well as on the lakes Kuusamojärvi, Kitkajärvi and Iijärvi or on a multitude of smaller and more peaceful lakes, ponds and brooks. Remember to visit Kuusamon Uistin, when you come.

It is easy to find the way. Drive towards the Ruka holiday centre from the town of Kuusamo. Soon you will see a pond on the right. Having passed it you can see flags and signs that lead you to our well-known café and factory shop. You can have a break there, study the fishing maps over the area, hear the hottest tips on the best fishing spots and fishing lures of the day. Maybe you’ll have a cup of coffee or other refreshments while resting. Have a look at our large aquarium with local fish species. You can do some shopping in the factory shop, where you find a large range of items to use out on the fishing and hunting grounds, among them Kuusamon Uistin’s products ranging from the newest of the new to the old classics. You might even find some experimental models that are not yet on sale so you can’t find them on the shelves elsewhere.
